Vickie King

Vickie Ann King, 65, of Hixson, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Mrs. King was born and raised in Hixson. She was a graduate of Hixson High School and earned an Art Degree from Chattanooga State. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and retired from Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. Vickie was a gifted artist and well respected in the Chattanooga area.

She was preceded by her father, Floyd Ashley.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Roy King; daughters, Rebecca (Gary Jr) Thomas and their children, Leon and Nikolas and Ashley (Brent) Myers and their son, Desmond; mother, Juene Ashley; and brothers, Mark and Michael Ashley.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 23rd from 11 AM to 3 PM at the funeral home.
