Glenda Waddell

Glenda Cabe Waddell, 69 of Chattanooga passed away on October 18, 2021 at a local care facility. She has lived most of her adult life in the Chattanooga area.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Cabe & Christine (R.G.) Stanfield; daughter Michelle Waddell Baker; sister Jean Phillips; brother Ronald Graham; and step sister Carol Stanfield.

Glenda is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Marvin Waddell; 2 children Michael (Sandy) Waddell, Mark (Heather) Waddell; step daughter Laura (Scott) Geffre; siblings Charles “Bo” (Rose) Cabe, Jere Burnette; Step Siblings Gary Stanfield, Vickie Stanfield; grandchildren Tabbitha Baker, Madyson Waddell, Makenzie Waddell, Kelton Waddell, Haley Whitten, and Kaley Whitten; great-grandchildren Isaac Baker Leah Baker, Lexi Baker, Nicholas Burton; and several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday October 22, 2021 in the parlor of the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.
