Linda Templeton

RINGGOLD — Linda Gail Parks Templeton, 72, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at her residence.

A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a former employee of Hamilton Medical Center where she worked in Radiology and was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Myrtle Ramona Dunn Parks; sister, Janie Chard; and three

brothers, Lamar Parks, Ronnie Parks and Edward Parks.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Templeton of Ringgold, Ga.; two children, Roger Templeton of Ringgold, Ga., and Kimberly (Shawn) Henson of Ringgold, Ga.; sister, Sherry Peters of

LaFayette, Ga.; six grandchildren, Jay, Alicia, Matt, Rachel, Alex and Noah; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Corbin Kinsey officiating. Interment

will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
