Marvin Leamon, 74, of Chattanooga passed away on September 13th, 2021, surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Elmina Leamon and brothers RC, Johnny, Ray Jean, Ed, Kenneth and Michael.

Marvin is survived by son, Marty Leamon and daughter-in-law Kim, son Eric Leamon, daughter Angela and son-in-law Robert Roberts, son, Jason Leamon and step-daughter Cristie Powers. Grandchildren include Destiny Black, Gabriel Roberts and Paul Hughes. Surviving siblings include, bother Terry Leamon and sisters Evelyn and Carolyn Leamon. He has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marvin was known for his love of fishing. He had a way of romanticizing his battles with the big one that got away. He was an avid cat lover and cared for them tenderly, especially Prissybutt. He enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching college football. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family and root for the Vols. He will be greatly missed.

The memorial service will be held for family and friends on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel 7414 Lee Highway Chattanooga, TN. Visitation will immediately following the service.
