Maureen Boyd

Elizabeth Maureen Medley Boyd, age 81 of Flintstone, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. She was born to the late James Herman and Beatrice Young Medley in Chickamauga and lived numerous places during her life, including Dallas, Waco and Washington State. Maureen returned home to live in Flintstone in 1991 and continued working as an artist, potter and sculpturer, as the owner/operator of Maureen Boyd Pottery. She was also a graduate of Rossville High School, Class of 1958 and was of the Christian faith. Maureen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, of 53 years, Frank Boyd, children; Rebecca (Jed) Dills and Heather (Michael) Heaton, siblings; Melanie Parrot and Michael Medley, grandchildren; Dustin Brumbaugh, Eric Brumbaugh, Chase Brumbaugh, Forrest Dills, Skyler Dills, Devin Heaton and Buffy Heaton, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
