Jackie Huff

CLEVELAND - Jackie Robert Huff, age 84, entered into his eternal rest with his Savior Jesus at 5:05p.m on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Born on December 29, 1937 to the late John Robert Isham and Maybelle Lawson Huff, he was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and a beloved member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where he enjoyed attending services. Jack was a a career truck driver and loved watching Nascar, football, boxing, and old western movies and trains. He was a beloved family man and always loved being in the presence of family. He enjoyed cooking his famous cornbread and pinto beans for his family and feeding his squirrels. His loving legacy will always be remembered.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Sgt Paul Huff, Clinton Huff, Clayton Huff, Decatur Huff, Ken Huff, and Frances Kolwyck; half-brother Donald Lamber; and grandson Christian Nathaniel Huff.

Left behind to cherish Jack’s memory are his loving wife Rose Huff; sons, Danny Huff and Stephen Huff(Kristal); granddaughters, Sarah Huff, Danielle Huff; great-granddaughter, Olivia Huff; and brother Wayne Huff; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Jackie Robert Huff will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery with Dewayne Huff, Tim Huff, John Bill Swallows, Richard Mansfield, Robert Rymer and Jim Laub serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour on Thursday.
