Rocksand Martin

Rocksand Allgood Martin, 52, transitioned to her heavenly home on January 14, 2022, at her Ooltewah home surrounded by her loved ones. Rocksand was loved by many and her legacy will continue to live on.

Rocksand was preceded in death by her father, Aquilla (Fox) Allgood; brother, Roy Allgood; mother-in-law, Geraldine Weaver.

She is survived by her mother, Betty R. Patterson; husband, Darrell O. Martin Sr.; her sons, Darrell (Diamond) Martin Jr., and Devin (Ajontae) Martin; daughter, Chanell (Sherman) Haney; grandchildren, Kymiri Turner, Marli Martin, Kyree Haney, Peyton Martin, Paisley Martin, Devontae Martin, Aviana Martin, Jayden Martin, and Ahniya Martin; brothers, Myron D. Hale and Phillip (Andy) Allgood; sister, Tina (Anthony) Stewart; father-in-law, Tommy Weaver; best friend, Paula Simpson-Dewitt; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm, Friday, January 28, 2022, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the funeral home chapel. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
