Ralph Zigner

ROSSVILLE Ralph "Ziggy" Allen Zigner, 55, died on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at his residence.He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1972 and attended Durkee Elementary and graduated from Tremper High School, both in Wisconsin. Ralph attended UTC, where he wrestled and was a member of the Pike Fraternity. He placed third in the wrestling in the Bulgaria World Games and was inducted into the UTC Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1995.Ralph became a Master Mason in 1984 and was a 25 year member of the Temple Masonic Lodge 430 F&AM, where he was currently serving as Tyler.He was also a well known local business owner for over 30 years.Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Emrich Zigner.Survivors include his sons, Gerald Allen Zigner, Rossville, Bradley Gene Carr, Big Wells, Texas, and Brantley Alexander Carr, LaFayette, Ga.; stepmother, Virginia Zigner, Ooltewah; mother, Nancy Krifka; brother, Gerald Zigner, Kenneth Zigner and Richard Zigner; sisters, Ruth Zigner and Allison Zigner; several nieces, nephews and cousins, all of Kenosha, Wis. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 30, in the funeral home chapel with the Chattanooga Masonic Lodge 199 F&AM conducting the service.Interment will be private.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family and view the memorial tribute.The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. today until service time at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
