David Faulkner

David Allen Faulkner, age 74 of Chattanooga, passed away Nov. 25, 2017, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church and the Mike Smith Sunday school class. David served six years in United States Army Garrison 3397 Reserves and was employed for 37 years at DuPont. He was an avid golfer, volunteered and worked for Brown Acres Golf Course, and especially loved his volunteer work at the Tennessee Aquarium. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Francis Faulkner and brother, Ralph Faulkner. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 49 years, Gay Johnson Faulkner; the love of his life, his daughter, Laura K. Faulkner; and eldest brother, Charles Faulkner and wife Donna. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Chattanooga for their compassion and loving care. At David’s request, his body has been donated to UT Memphis School of Medicine. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
