Brenda Burnette

ROSSVILLE - Brenda Joyce Tucker Burnette, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 16, 1950 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James and Ethel Tucker. Mrs. Burnette was a former employee of Buster Brown and a loving homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Ray Burnette; sister, Shirley Vice; brother, Melvin Tucker.

Survivors include her sons, Frankie Goff and Jody Burnette; daughters, Kim (Robert) Fisher, Fancy (Jimmy) Moran and Angel Burnette; sisters, Jimmy Ann Murphy and Theresa Burnette; grandchildren, Rachel Millsaps, Brittany Knight, Ashlan Brown and Taylor Wilkey; 10 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga, her aide Judy Roden, her cousin Myron Helton, her caregiver Linda Maggiore and sister Theresa Burnette for all the care and love they have shown.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Minister David Rapson officiating.
