Robert Parker Shepard

Robert Parker Shepard, Jr., 92, of Chattanooga, passed away on November 17, 2022. Robert was born in December 1929. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kellogg Shepard; his daughter, Jane M. Shepard Dill Sells; his parents, Robert Parker Sr. and Mona Shepard; his brother, Benjamin Sanborn Shepard; and two sisters, Marjorie and Mona. Robert is survived by his daughter, Eleanor M. Shepard (Daniel S. Amick); his son, Rob Shepard; and his grandson, John R. Dill. Robert retired from the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission as Chief of Research after many years of service. He cherished his longtime choir membership with Pilgrim Church of Chattanooga. Therefore, a memorial service will be held at Pilgrim Church in the Spring of 2023 with details to be announced at a later date.
