Lawrence Anthony Hudson

Hudson Lawrence Anthony Hudson, age 65, passed away November 11, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center from complications of covid-19. He was born September 29, 1955, in Rolla, Missouri. His father, Thomas Leo Hudson preceded him in death on April 16, 1990, and his 96 year old mother, Anna Mae Matlock, lives in Salem, Mo. Lawrence was a devoted father, he gave good advice to all of his son's friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his granddaughter, Amelia. He was a truck driver for 40 years. He was employed with Gold Starr Recycling for the last 10 years of his life. Many who knew him would say he was always willing to help you and wouldn't want anything in return. Oh, he would say, just get me a Pepsi! Survivors include: one son, Chris (wife Amanda) of Holts Summit; and two grandchildren, Ava and Annabelle Campbell of Holts Summit; two brothers, Tom of Joplin, Mo. and Joe of St. James; two sisters, Debbie Hopson of Edger Springs and Donna Glidewell of Rolla. He had two brothers who preceded him in death, Kenneth and Frank, both of Lecoma. Lawrence was cremated by the Heartland Veterans in Columbia, Missouri. No services will be held.
