Deanne Westbrook

Deanne Westbrook CHICKAMAUGA - Jimmie “Deanne” Westbrook, 79, passed away June 4, 2023. She lived in the North Georgia area most of her life. Deanne graduated from Rossville High School in 1961 and went on to attend the Erlanger School of Nursing and graduated in 1977. Deanne was a nurse at Hutcheson Medical Center where she loved working with the oncology patients and on the Houston Jewell floor. She also worked at Parkside Nursing Home. eanne was an avid reader and could always be found with a book close by. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist church, enjoyed going to the beach and trips to the library. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Allen Westbrook,Sr; parents, William H. Oswalt, Sr and Geneva Brandon Oswalt; brother, William “Butch” H. Oswalt, Jr; and grandson, Jacob Westbrook. Survivors include her brother, Steve (Darlene) Oswalt; sons, Allen Westbrook, Jr., Michael Westbrook and Jason (Aundrea) Westbrook; grandchildren, Kimberly Westbrook (Kaleb), Jasper Eubanks, James Westbrook and many extended family members. Condolences may be shared and live webcasting of the service will be available at lane-southcrestchapel.com Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8 at 2:00pm in the South Crest Chapel with the Pastor Frank Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7th from 4pm until 8pm at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
