Martha Jane Daniel

Martha Jane Daniel, also known as Jane Swearengin, 95, passed away peacefully, March 9, 2023, in Collegedale, TN. Born January 10, 1928, to the late DeWitt & Margaret Caldwell, in Sewanee, TN. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her 1st husband, Ralph Swearengin; 2nd husband, Frank Daniel; daughter, Beverly Dawson; and sons, Wayne and Paul Swearengin. Survived by her sons, Nolan, Donald, Jerry, and Henry Swearengin; brother, Robert Caldwell; 13 grandchildren; and a host of friends. Special thank you to Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga, TN and Life Care of Collegedale for the loving care that was shown. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday, March 20, 2023, at Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland, TN, with a service to begin in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Pastor Tony Angel will officiate the service and burial will be held at Payne Cemetery in Trenton, GA.
