Jo Ann Potts

Jo Ann Potts, 80, of Hixson died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in Chattanooga. She was born August 16, 1942 in Hixson, Tennessee to the late Babe and Nellie Rogers. Her husband, Cecil Potts, preceded her in death. She loved her family and one of her greatest joys was being able to spend time with them and to care for them. She was a natural caregiver; she loved caring for others, especially by helping and volunteering in the community. She would often help anyone that she could by bringing food, giving rides and by being a friend. She also enjoyed collecting Blue Ridge Pottery. Survivors include her sons, Leon (Karen) Potts and Darrell (Tracey) Potts; siblings, W. A Rogers, Wanda Sue Gann, Donnie Rogers, George Rogers, and Darlene Parrott; grandchildren, Daniel Potts, Caleb Potts, Joshua Potts, Jeremy Potts, and Hannah Potts; great grandchildren, Logan Potts, Chasity Potts, Griffin Potts, Gage Potts, and Grace Potts; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday, March 31 and 10-11 Saturday, April 1 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
