Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen has appointed developer and former Chattanooga Mayor Jon M. Kinsey to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
Kinsey is among 100 men and women appointed to serve on 34 state boards and commissions today.
THEC, based in Nashville, provides oversight for the state's colleges and universities.
