Missing North Carolina man last seen in Chattanooga

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a 34-year-old man who has been reported missing.

Corey Patrick Olsen was last seen in the 3600 block of Rossville Boulevard around 3 p.m. on Nov. 28. Olsen, who is from Murphy, N.C., left home that day. His family has not seen him since.

His family told authorities that while Olsen sometimes visits friends in the Chattanooga area, it’s unusual for him not to make contact with his family.

Olsen has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as a missing person. He is 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen driving a 2004 gold Acura with dark-tinted windows. The North Carolina license tag reads BCL 8802.

If anyone has any information about Olsen’s whereabouts, call Detective David Sowder at 423-209-8940.
