Chattanooga police are investigating the shooting of a 40-year-old woman who was taken to Erlanger hospital early this morning with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman sustained wounds to her abdomen and arm at 7604 Standifer Gap Road. She told police she did not know who shot her or why she was shot.
The woman's injury marks the city's 13th shooting so far this year.
