Chattanooga police are releasing more information about a shooting that took place at a McDonald’s in the 4500 block of Rossville Boulevard around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Stephen Underwood, 29, was shot in the chest and arm in what he told investigators was a drug-related incident, police spokesman Nathan Hartwig said in a news release today.
Underwood told police that he and the suspect argued, and then the suspect shot him twice and left the scene, Hartwig said. Underwood received minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot, 10-inch tall white male who weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen in a light blue Ford F-150 truck.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police at 423-698-2525.
