“Going 15 miles,” Fred Fletcher asked. “Want to come?”
We met in April at the finish line of the Scenic City Trail Marathon. Fletcher had just moved to town as Chattanooga’s newest police chief. That was a Thursday. On Saturday, he shows up to run the Scenic City trail.
