HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – A ski jacket worn by Pope John Paul II is now on display at a Nashville-area high school named in his honor.
The black jacket was donated to John Paul II High School in Hendersonville by the Vatican before the pope died in 2005.
The school, which opened in 2002, waited until now to display it on grounds it became an appropriate time.
