A woman called from an apartment Tuesday afternoon saying she was stabbed in the back, according to Chattanooga Police Department Officer Rebecca Royval.
Lauren Taylor, who sustained injuries that are not life-threatening, received a small stab wound to her back and was taken to Erlanger hospital, Royval said.
Taylor and Kristian Deanna Marie Thomas, 20, were arguing at the Concorde Apartments, at 7301 East Brainerd Road, when Thomas reportedly grabbed a knife and stabbed Taylor, according to police.
Police said they were unable to locate the knife at the scene.
Thomas remained in custody at Silverdale Detention Facility on a $7,500 bond Wednesday on a charge of aggravated assault.
