Rock City awards Miller Scholarship
See Rock City Inc. selected Emily Clark as the recipient of its $2,000 Martha Bell Miller Scholarship. The annual award honors the late Martha Bell Miller, who portrayed “Mother Goose” at Rock City, as well as recognizing an employee of See Rock City for his or her educational efforts.
The scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
Clark began her work at Rock City on the food service team in 2013 and currently works in many food locations throughout See Rock City, including catering and setup for special events. She has several family members who also have worked for See Rock City, including her mother, Amy, the company’s retail manager.
The honoree is a graduate of Dade County High School and attends the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic program at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. She recently completed an Emergency Medical Responder certification class offered by Rock City and serves as an EMR at the attraction.
