The nationwide launch of MAC Cosmetics’ new fall makeup collection this weekend includes a chance for Chattanooga women to show off their looks on the runway.
“The event brings professional makeup artists from as far as New York City to demonstrate the latest makeup techniques,” according to a news release from Hamilton Place marketing office. “Hairstylists will be available to punch up hairdos for anyone wishing to take a walk on the proverbial catwalk. A catwalk instructor will provide lessons on fashion posing and demonstrate a variety of runway walks.”
The extravaganza takes place by appointment from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Saturday at Center Court, near the Belk Women’s Store, at the mall.
MAC’s new fall makeup line, dubbed the “Fabulous Feline” collection, was inspired by the patterns, shades and textures of three pedigreed cats: the chocolate lynx Burmese, leopard-like ginger Ocicat and the aristocratic Russian blue.
