NASHVILLE — Republican gubernatorial hopeful Zach Wamp’s campaign announced Wednesday it will begin airing its first television ads today.
The Chattanooga congressman is the last among the three GOP candidates to go up on television. Wamp campaign officials said it is a “statewide buy” but have not stated how much they are spending.
The ad will be posted at 9 a.m. today on U.S. Rep. Wamp’s Web site — www.zachwamp.com.
Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam already has been running ads for weeks while ads from Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey recently went on the air and on cable.
