STORRS, Conn. (AP) – UConn will hold a rally indoors instead of a parade around campus to celebrate its national champion women’s basketball team because of unseasonably cold weather.

The Huskies, who won their fourth consecutive title last night, will hold a rally Wednesday inside Gampel Pavilion when the team returns from Indianapolis.

UConn players are expected to arrive at to Bradley International Airport just after 4 p.m., but there won’t be a public event there.

The Huskies made college basketball history Tuesday night with their record 11th national championship in a rout of Syracuse. They also posted their 75th straight win.

The UConn seniors finished their careers with four titles and a 151-5 record, setting an NCAA Division I women’s record for both.
