It seems our nation does not go very many weeks without disturbing news of another terrorist attack or attempted attack:
* There was the gunning down — allegedly by a radical Muslim — of two U.S. military recruiters as they stood outside a recruitment station in Arkansas last June.
* There was the mass shooting of U.S. soldiers at Fort Hood in Texas in November, allegedly by a radical Muslim soldier.
* Then there was the Christmas Day attempt to bomb a U.S.-bound airliner. Once again, a radical Muslim is accused.
* More recently, a Missouri man who was native to Morocco admitted giving money to the al-Qaida terrorist network overseas.
