Change is coming
President Joe Biden has only been in office for two days, but he’s already issued over a dozen executive orders and directives related to health care and the coronavirus. The impact of some of those – such as mounting a vaccine campaign with the goal of administering 100 million shots in 100 days – won’t be immediately felt in the Chattanooga region. But there’s no doubt that big changes are happening to our country’s overarching pandemic response, and we’ll be here to cover them as they play out locally.
Meanwhile, it’s officially been over a year since the United States confirmed its first COVID-19 case on Jan. 20, 2020.
