Auditions will be held Saturday for a Battle of the Bands for musicians in grades 6-12 scheduled May 14 on Signal Mountain.
Auditions will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mountain Arts Community Center, 809 Kentucky Ave., with finalists returning to perform from 7 to 9 p.m. the following week.
Tickets will sell for $8 in advance, $10 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the community center.
The event has been organized by Riley Hunnewell, a longtime music lover and guitarist, with input from MACC director Barb Storm.
