A small airplane had a minor crash today at the Dallas Bay Skypark.
A little after 10 a.m., the single-engine aircraft overshot the landing strip and crashed into a fence, said Janice Atkinson, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. She describe the crash as “minor.”
The pilot was not injured, she said, and drove himself away from the airport a few minutes after the crash.
The aircraft was towed into a hangar at the airfield.
