Is there any way to be absolutely sure that the irrational Muslim regime in Iran cannot build nuclear weapons to menace – or possibly to annihilate – Israel, or others in its neighborhood?
Might Israel – which Iran has threatened to exterminate – launch an aerial bombing attack to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities, much as Israel did in 1981 to thwart Iraq’s efforts to produce nukes? If so, would such an attack be effective? What would the United States do?
Even if the locations of Iranian nuclear sites were clearly known, they may be deep underground, or scattered to avoid the destruction of Iran’s nuclear threat.
In short, there is no surefire way to eliminate Iran’s alarming efforts to build nuclear weapons.
But that does not mean those who are threatened by Iran can rely on ineffective economic “sanctions” to persuade Iran to stop building nukes.
