Covenant Transportation Group has reported it had a smaller loss on increased revenues in the first quarter of this year.
The Chattanooga-based trucking company said revenues were up 13.6 percent to $152 million from the same period a year ago.
Covenant had a net loss in the quarter of $2.2 million or 15 cents per basic and diluted share. The same period of 2009 saw a net loss of $5.5 million or 38 cents per basic and diluted share.
