Chattanooga police are investigating after a man was shot Saturday evening on 2nd Avenue, according to a news release.
Shortly after 5 p.m., police were dispatched to 2500 2nd Ave. on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gun shot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by emergency services with an injury that was not life-threatening, according to police.
