No changes to water quality fee before vote tonight

City Attorney Mike McMahan said today there have been no changes to the proposed water quality, or stormwater, fee since the first City Council vote six weeks ago.

Council members voted 6-3 then to change the fee structure. The final vote is scheduled for tonight.

Councilman Manny Rico and Councilwomen Pam Ladd and Deborah Scott all voted against the first measure.

The new rates keep residents at $115.20 a year, or $9.60 a month. The nonresidential rate drops from $9.60 a month to $6.15 a month.
