The Chattanooga Beer Board suspended the beer license of the Chattanooga Billiards Club for three days.
The move is related to an accident that occurred outside Unum in December. Police charged 24-year-old Jeremy Lane with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and vehicular homicide, saying he was drunk behind the wheel of his Nissan sports car when he hit Susan Wood, 42, at Walnut and Fourth streets.
Mr. Lane was a CBC employee, but he and three other employees were fired after the accident. Another employee testified to the beer board today that she had been drinking at the club that night but she could not say if Mr. Lane was drinking on the premises.
