Cleveland, Tenn., police have identified the pedestrian struck and killed Saturday afternoon on APD 40.
Police say 22-year-old Bethany Scheffler was walking near the intersection of APD 40 and South Lee Highway when she was struck by a vehicle.
She was taken to Skyridge Medical Center, where she later died.
The investigation is ongoing.
