Several thousand visitors are expected Saturday, April 15, when the Riverside Spring Meet II auto show is held in First Tennessee Pavilion, 1826 Carter St. Show hours are noon to 7 p.m.

Riverside Spring Meet is an automotive event that is not a competition, but a place where enthusiasts can come together and enjoy a variety of vehicles from all over the Southeast, along with first-class vendors and local food trucks.

The car show was launched in March 2016 by Mason Gavin and Matt Skudlarek, who wanted to organize a car show geared toward the millennials’ age demographic. Their inaugural event featured about 450 vehicles.

Riverside Spring Meet II filled its registration by the end of March for exhibitors and 475 cars made the cut for the show from the 800 owners who applied. There will also be nearly 20 vendors in the pavilion, along with food and beverage vendors.

Admission is free for spectators, however there is a $5 per vehicle parking fee.
