CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Bradley County sheriff’s office says five elk have been illegally shot and killed on a farm in the past year.
The office has offered up to a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify anyone involved in the intentional killing. Three of the shootings have occurred since Thanksgiving. No motive has been uncovered.
The animals’ owner said the most recent killing was Thursday night.
