A chance to have some fun and raise money for Junior Achievement is coming up on Saturday, March 13. Proceeds from the “Remember the Time” Bowl-A-Thon, to be held at Galaxy Bowling, 2208 Cleveland Highway, will go to JA programs in Northwest Georgia. There’s no entry fee. To participate, teams of five bowlers must agree to raise $100 for JA. Bowling times are 9 and 11 a.m. All bowlers will bowl two games and will be provided shoes as well as a custom T-shirt and a team picture. Awards will be given to the school and company/community organization that receives the most donations, has the best costume, the highest team score and the highest individual score. Call JA at 706-278-9180 for more information or to register your team.
