Farmers should elect Democrats
Farmers who voted for Trump should be mortified at what his policies are doing to this country. Environmental protection a thing of the past, kissing up to dictators while alienating allies, and now a trade war that crushes farmers and many small businesses. You should donate your farmer’s welfare check to elect Democrats in November, so we can start to recover our democracy.

Socialism? Careful what you wish for
Some of today’s youngsters are leaning toward socialism: free college, free Medicare, free everything, etc.
Who pays for free? The government has no money, mostly what it takes from its people. Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea and a few others are socialist countries. The people are oppressed, there is no free speech, and goods and services are poor or nonexistent, while those in the upper echelon live in great style. It makes you wonder why anyone would want to embrace socialism.
We live in one of the most free and wonderful countries in the world, yet some misinformed people who have never lived in or even visited a socialist country are misleading our young people and our nation into believing socialism is better than our way of life in the United States. Youngsters, be careful what you wish for until you walk in some socialist’s shoes.

Trump: What’s in a nickname?
President Trump likes nicknames. Here’s some: fake president, draft dodger, delusional, egotistical, foolish, bully, betrayer, uncontrollable, incompetent, unfaithful, disrespectful, arrogant, Putin worshiper and liar. Lock him up.

Right thing to do not complicated
Mr. President,
It’s really not that complicated. Forcibly separating infants and children from their parents to make a political point is child abuse. Child abuse is wrong; it is illegal, immoral, and yes, it is sinful.
Mr. President, you created all of this suffering and misery with an executive order. You can quickly bring those separated families together if you use your influence. If there is a shred of decency in you, it will become a priority. It’s really not that complicated.
