Chattanooga native Ryan Martin’s first boxing match in 11 months wound up the same as his 13 professional fights in the previous 15 months – as a win. And for the ninth time in his 14-0 career start, the 5-foot-11 lightweight won by knockout. Martin won in the fifth round Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., against Rosbel Montoya of Mexico. Martin, a 23-year-old Central High School graduate based in Cleveland, Ohio, had been in limbo after Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s bankruptcy filing prevented his promotional company from scheduling fights.
