LOS ANGELES (AP) – Kerry Washington shared her superstar smile with everyone she ran into backstage at the Oscars.
She gave high-fives to Will Arnett and Questlove as they left the stage after performing “Everything is Awesome” from “The Lego Movie.” She told the dancers, “Nice job. Beautiful. Well done. Well done.”
She even greeted the student trophy presenters backstage, hugging each one and offering encouragement.
The good vibes continued when Viola Davis walked off stage, Washington telling her, “That was perfect, of course, because you’re perfect.”
