Payscape expands into Chattanooga

Payscape, an Atlanta-based company that helps businesses improve their cash flow through better and faster bill collection, has opened an office in downtown Chattanooga.

Payscape expanded into the Chattanooga market this month with a new office headed by district sales manager Todd Savage at 306 W. Main St. Prior to joining Payscape, Savage worked as a mortgage advisor in both the East Tennessee and North Georgia areas.

In his new role with Payscape, Savage will manage business development, strategic partnerships and hiring efforts within Chattanooga.

“Payscape’s continual growth and entrepreneurial attitude are what provides them with the ability to obtain the greatest levels of success in this commoditized industry,” Savage said.

The company is recruiting an account executive to help staff the new office.

Founded in 2004, Payscape provides technology and training to make it simpler for business owners to collect money. In the past three years, Payscape has increased its annual revenue by more than 30 percent, grown its client base by 50 percent and processed over 64 million transactions.

“We are excited to expand into Chattanooga and support the merger of our bank partner, Atlantic Capital Bank,” Payscape CEO Jeremy Wing said in a statement. “Our continued growth and partnerships is a testament to our dedication to hiring and retaining the FinTech industry’s most talented people and partners.”

Atlantic Capital Bancshares is paying about $160 million in stock and cash to purchase First Security Group, the parent company of FSG in Chattanooga. The merger of Atlantic Capital and FSG is expected to be completed later this year.
