With a majority of the American people having become aware of how financially and medically unsound is the ObamaCare medical care bill now in Congress, liberal Democrats are scrambling to find some way to pass their bad bill nevertheless.
Under Senate rules, it takes 60 votes to cut off debate and force a final vote. But with the somewhat surprising recent election of a Republican, Scott Brown, to fill the Senate vacancy resulting from the death of Democrat Sen. Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts, the liberal Democrats apparently cannot muster enough votes to pass the ObamaCare bill.
But they have not given up yet. They are looking for some parliamentary legislative maneuvers to enact the revolutionary socialized medicine bill.
With such an important and expensive issue being involved, with huge changes in the medical care of millions of Americans and a trillion-dollar-plus-red-ink cost being proposed, is ObamaCare something that should even be considered without a clear and informed majority of our people being strongly for it?
