Authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped from a work release detail about 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stevenson Park in Alabama, according to a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Jericho Tidwell had been in jail for a probation revocation and had been working a work release detail at the park for several weeks.
Tidwell is a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and has brown shaved hair, hazel eyes and numerous tatoos including visible tatoos on his neck. Tidwell had a beard but is now clean shaven. He was last seen around the Stevenson Park wearing standard orange and white stripped jail clothes.
Jackson County deputies and Stevenson Police responded to the scene but so far have been unable to find Tidwell.
A be on the lookout (BOLO) alert has been placed for surrounding counties.
