Chattanooga police were called to East Third Street and Holtzclaw Avenue on a shooting at about 9 p.m. Saturday evening, according to department spokeswoman Rebecca Royval.
The victim, Allen Tucker, 35, was shot in the upper left thigh, and the wound is not life-threatening, Officer Royval said.
Investigators are in the process of interviewing the victim and witnesses at this time but say that it is unclear where the shooting actually occurred because of conflicting statements, Officer Royval said.
There is no suspect information, and the case is pending, she said.
