A mystery is afoot at the Creative Discovery Museum’s Science Theatre.
An enemy has gained access to the inner workings of the laboratory and wreaked havoc. To return everything back to normal, the intrepid Dr. Zia von Vinkle will need the help of her enlightened band of Science Intelligence Agents, also known as “the kids attending Fourth Friday Family Fun Night,” to restore the theater’s “Ray o’ Light.”
As their reward, members of the audience will get to explore “wacky and wonderful” activities at stations set up throughout the Science Theatre, according to organizers. Kids tour the stations at their own pace to to learn more about science.
The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30. Cost is $9 per child over age 4 and $7 for CDM members (bring your membership card for the discount). Parents are admitted free. The Science Theater is near Belk for Women on the back side of Northgate Mall in Hixson.
