Good Deed – Students continue fundraising tradition

For over 10 years, student council members at Dayton City School in Rhea County have found creative ways to raise funds to help sick children and families at the Ronald McDonald House. They recently donated $500 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga.

Jill Land of Dayton City Schools, who has helped coordinate the efforts with the students, says they raised the funds from a variety of fundraisers. The funds will help provide nine nights of comfort for a family at the Ronald McDonald House while their critically ill child is receiving care at the hospital.

Donations come in different shapes and sizes. Each one helps us to continue our mission of serving families when they need it most. We couldn’t do it without you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
