- Recommended adventure: Run a marathon with your family – over a 10-week period. Chattanooga Sports and Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon have partnered to provide a free virtual program that challenges families to get active each week through a series of short-distance walks and runs. Through each completed challenge, participants are one mile closer to completing 26.2 miles or a full marathon – with the final mile completed on March 6 through Erlanger’s annual Kids Fun Run. Week one begins on Monday, though families can opt into the program at any time. Learn more here.
- Most interesting thing we recently learned about nature: The Danish Mayfly was just named “Insect of the Year” for 2021 by an international group of entomologists – and it had better get the party started. The mayfly doesn’t have long to celebrate its 15 minutes of fame. Read more here.
