CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Bradley Central High School’s culinary arts program is “hot,” according to one of the largest food schools in the nation.

For the second time, Louisville’s Sullivan University, which specializes in hospitality careers, has named the high school’s culinary program as one of the “Hot 100” in the nation.

“I can only go as far as my students will take us,” said chef Richmond Flowers, who runs Bradley Central’s program. “We want to teach to the highest standards of excellence.”

At the school, students don’t just listen to teachers, they also get hands-on experience preparing food and menus, said Arlette Robinson, career and technical department supervisor for county schools.
